Vlad the Impaler was a gruesome tyrant. He got his name by impaling whole villages on pikes and displaying them across the countryside while he was at war. There is even a legend that he gouged at the eyes of all the prisoners he took from one particular battle. he left one man ungouged to lead the rest home.
He was an awesome vampire. The End.
